Alyssa Hickey

Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Qualified Supervisor

DBT Intensively Trained Therapist

Hi! I’m Alyssa, she/her.

I understand that the first step on the healing journey can often be the hardest. My goal is to create a non-judgmental, safe environment that fosters authenticity and trust as we work together. I believe that healing and resilience come from within, and I strive to empower individuals to find happiness and hope on their journey.

I focus on individualized care, working with you to promote holistic healing and build resilience. I value authentic and genuine connections, as I believe our most basic need is to connect with others. Through expression and connection, we can deepen our understanding of the self and move toward growth and healing.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Qualified Supervisor for Clinical Social Work and Marriage and Family Therapy, and a DBT Intensively Trained Therapist through Behavioral Tech, a leading international DBT training organization.

Driven by my passion for continued professional growth, I am pursuing the Certified Eating Disorder Specialistcredential through the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp™), and regularly participate in ongoing Psychodrama training and EMDR consultation groups.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time in the sun or by the pool, reading books with my cats, Mar and Maggie, and enjoying time with my friends.

* All services with me are located in Stuart, FL or Virtually.
